A beautiful handwoven shawl of warm wool and lustrous wild silk. Each end of the shawl is handstiched by the Rabari embroiderers with intricate patterning and shimmering mirrors. The natural hues of the handspun wild silk dance beautifully across the shawl. A perfect combination of wool and silk to keep you cozy and warm.
Embroidery is an integral part of Kachchhi Rabari life. The stitchwork combines mirrors of many shapes: squares, triangles, diamonds, rectangles and circles. This unusual play with shaped mirrors is unique to Rabari embroidery.

Process: Handspun silk threads, handwoven and embroidered by master craftspeople in Kachchh, India.

Care Instructions: Hand wash in cool water. To protect the natural fabric we recommend using a pH neutral liquid detergent. Roll in a towel to remove excess water and hang to dry.
Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7
